First if you need gear and credits you'll need to tough it out and grind missions to earn credits and specifically need to get enough credits to buy some standard grinder composite mini suits (20-30K max), then buy a spraystick (rifle) preferrably sliced to 1.0-1.5ish speed (15-250K max[250k would be enhanced by looted components with significantly higher ...The BH XP cap for novice BH is 10,000. Even though Investigation 1 only requires 1,000, it's highly recommended you reach the 10k cap first before training. You can get one more easy novice mission after you hit the cap, by accepting a novice mission when you are at 10k and then training Inv1 and Inv2. ….

I have a lot of experience in BH vs Jedi combat. If your goal is to never die to a BH, all you need is LS XXX4/Healer 4xx4/Enhancer 4xx3, the rest is up to you.
